Privacy policy
How AutoMate AI collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Who we are
This website is run by AutoMate AI (“we”, “us”), Kemp House, 152–160 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email cara@automate-ai.pro.
What we collect
- Checklist and form sign-ups: your first name (optional), email address, and whether you asked to receive automation tips.
- Audit bookings: the name, email address and any answers you give when you book a call through Calendly.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us or speak to us, including details about your business and its processes.
- Website usage: technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit, collected by our hosting and booking providers.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To send you the checklist and reply to your enquiries – our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.
- To run your free audit call and follow up on it – the same legitimate interest, or taking steps at your request before a contract.
- To send you automation tips and news – only if you tick the box to agree (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us.
- To deliver work for clients – performing our contract with you.
- To keep the website secure and working – our legitimate interest in running a reliable website.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Wix – website hosting, forms and our contact list.
- Calendly – booking audit calls.
- Google – the website's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
- Our email and video-call providers – to correspond and hold meetings with you.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of these providers store or access data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and checklist sign-ups: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only a record that you opted out, so we don't email you again.
- Client records: for 6 years after our work ends, to meet legal and accounting requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website stores a small note in your browser (local storage) to remember whether you have already seen or closed the checklist pop-up, so it doesn't keep appearing. Our hosting provider (Wix) and our booking calendar (Calendly) may set cookies that are needed for their services to work and for security. You can clear or block these in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to marketing at any time;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, email cara@automate-ai.pro. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
